Ideas
eHQ Ideas is a brainstorming tool.
Ideas is a tool for the early, or divergent, stages of a community engagement program. It is used to gather lots and lots of ideas quickly from as many people as possible, and then to carry out a preliminary prioritisation (or sifting) of those ideas. It is not designed to provoke deeper and more deliberative consideration of the proposed solutions. This is for a later phase in the process.
Virtual post-it notes, Ideas are a way for your community to share what inspires them. Ideas can include images or media for context and participants can like and comment directly

almost 9 years agoThe great thing about eHQ Ideas is that you can have multiple "brainstorming" sessions running in parallel or in sequence to focus your stakeholder's minds on discrete issues or opportunities.

almost 9 years agoAnd this is proof that you can have more than one Brainstorming session running in parallel! We could launch a new Brainstormer every week, we could launch lots on day one, or we could launch them ad hoc in response to specific issues that come up through the project.Nathan Connorsover 7 years agoThis is my idea!

1mattalmost 9 years agoGet commuters involved
Take advantage of mobile web browsers by handing out flyers outlining an issue at train stations. Ask commuters to spend 5 minutes of their commute coming up with some ideas to help with an issue you are facing.

Brainstormer can be used to tell a crowd-sourced story about a community. With votes leading the way the narrative develops each week.
